Artemis Barn Cottages is situated within a 10-minute walk from the village of Franschhoek, which is regarded as South Africa's food and wine capital. The cottages offer a peaceful environment, magnificent mountain views, and koi ponds set in an indigenous garden. It consists of two self-catering cottages where guests can walk the labyrinth or simply enjoy the rooms adorned with soft murals and mosaic bathrooms. The gardens feature sculptures, birds, wildlife, and occasional chameleons.

Visitors can stay for a weekend or a week, enjoying the views, peace, and tranquility. They can picnic in the evening light at the top dam with exquisite views over the mountains, have a braai under the starlit sky, or simply sit and relax. The self-catering cottages accommodate two people with king-size or twin beds, en-suite showers, and spacious bedrooms leading off the basic kitchen dining areas. Additionally, there is a single bed in the same room for a third person.

Currently, there are no facilities available for kids or toddlers at Artemis Barn Cottages. The cottages are secure with burglar bars and decorative burglar gates. Tea, coffee, rusks, and basic condiments are provided, and the linen is changed every fourth day.
