Barnfires Farmhouse

Barnfires Self-catering Farmhouse is situated on a 40-hectare farmland touching the Vaal River. It offers a fully furnished farmhouse suitable for families or groups of up to ten people. The property features a lovely swimming pool with great views. The farmhouse has three bedrooms, a loft area, two bathrooms, a spacious lounge, and a kitchen. The farm kitchen is fully equipped and includes a gas stove and a traditional Dover stove. The living room has a fireplace and a large dining table that can accommodate the whole family. Large doors open out onto a covered patio with braai facilities and views of the surrounding farmland.

The Vaal River is located merely 100 meters from the house, offering opportunities for fishing and canoeing. Guests can enjoy picnics, read books under the trees, or explore the farm on their mountain bikes. Leisure fishing is allowed, and the venue operates a strict catch and release policy. While guests are welcome to braai and eat a fish or two that they caught, no fish is allowed to be taken off the property.

The venue is ideal for relaxation, enjoying nature, bird-watching, a farmyard experience, and family fun. The fully furnished farmhouse has three bedrooms and a loft area, with three double beds and four single beds. The rooms share two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath.
