Bernally's Fishing Lodge is a peaceful self-catering accommodation situated in the heart of the Magaliesburg. The lodge offers basic units that overlook the dams, which are stocked with a variety of fish, as well as campsites.

The lodge features a quaint thatched cottage with an open-plan design, including a lounge, bedroom, bathroom with a bath, and a kitchen. The lounge area has seating and a fireplace, while the kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, a toaster, a two-plate gas stove, a kettle, toaster, and basic cutlery, crockery, and cooking utensils. The cottage has a private patio and braai area overlooking the dam.

Chalet Kingfisher is a fully equipped self-catering unit with two bedrooms furnished with double beds and bedding, a small kitchen with a fridge/freezer, basic crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils, and a bathroom with a shower. It has a lounge area with a cozy fireplace, and the patio features a table, six chairs, a braai, and a spot for a campfire.

The Giant Heron Chalet is ideal for large families and is fully equipped for self-catering. It has two bedrooms with double beds and bedding, a double sleeper couch in the lounge area with bedding, a kitchen with a fridge/freezer, and a bathroom with a shower. The lounge area has a fireplace, and the patio includes a braai, a table, and six chairs. Additionally, there is a natural rock splash pool for guests' use and a lappa next to the unit with a large bar counter and bar stools for parties.

For campers with their own tents, campers, or caravans, there are 40 campsites available near the water. Each site has plug points, lamp posts, and taps. Please note that these plug points are only for extra lights, cell phones, laptops, and bare fridges, and guests should bring gas for cooking and boiling water. Communal ablutions with hot and cold water and a wash-up area for dishes are available.

The property has four dams stocked with bass, red and blue kurper, barbel, yellowfish, and carp. Please note that the main dam is empty due to poor rainfall, but the four smaller dams are relatively full, and fishing is good. The lodge is mainly a bass and fly fishing facility, and specimen carp fishing is not permitted.

The lodge has a self-catering bar area with a fireplace, a full bar counter, and a patio overlooking the main dam, which is ideal for a country wedding. The campsites are all situated on the water and have lights, taps, braai facilities, and places to make campfires. Communal ablutions for men and women, consisting of showers and a bath, are available. The rate displayed is for the site only, and an additional cost of R100 per person per night is applicable.
