Brentwood Lodge

Brentwood Lodge is located in the small town of Deneysville, offering accommodation options for corporate or leisure travelers visiting the scenic part of the Free State. It provides a tranquil environment away from the hustle and bustle, without malls or take-away franchises.

The Main Lodge features four guest rooms with various bed configurations and en-suite bathrooms, where three rooms have showers, and one family room has a bath. Each room is equipped with a kettle, microwave, and mini-fridge, although cooking is not allowed as they are not fully self-catering. The rooms come with TVs with OVHD decoders.

Additionally, there are two self-catering units with two bedrooms, open-plan living areas, and fully equipped kitchenettes to meet self-catering needs. These units also have TVs with OVHD decoders. All accommodation at Brentwood Lodge is non-smoking.

The lodge offers a fully licensed bar and a fireplace for cold winter days. The TV in the main hall/pub area has DSTV for sports. There is a small plunge pool in the garden with various braai areas. An English Breakfast is available but must be pre-booked and paid for upon arrival.

Brentwood Lodge does not accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties or group bookings. Day visitors are not allowed to use the facilities, which are strictly for booked guests only. It is important to note that Deneysville is a small town, with most businesses and restaurants operating from Wednesday to Sunday lunchtime.

The lodge experiences load shedding and other power outages, which may affect water pumps and sometimes cellphone towers. Brentwood Lodge cannot be held responsible for such occurrences.

Each individual room in the Main Lodge has a Double Bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. A mini-fridge, microwave, and kettle are supplied. However, cooking is not permitted in these rooms, which are not fully self-catering. The rooms have TVs with OVHD decoders, are carpeted with a thatch roof inside, and are non-smoking. A minimum stay of two nights is required on long weekends.
