Bundu River Lodge

Bundu River Lodge is a self-catering holiday destination located approximately 16 kilometers from Ventersburg, just off the main N1 highway. It offers a quiet, tranquil natural environment where guests can relax after a long day on the road, or escape the busy city center for a weekend getaway.

The accommodation options at Bundu River Lodge include self-catering rooms, standard rooms, free-standing rondavels, and camping facilities. The self-catering rooms are well-equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, kettle, and crockery. The standard rooms are basic but include a double bed or single beds, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a bar fridge. The free-standing rondavels have bunk beds and guests can use the communal ablution and kitchen facilities.

Bundu River Lodge is a popular venue for conferences, weddings, birthday parties, and other events, with a large hall available for such occasions. The establishment is situated next to the Sand River, where guests can swim and fish. Additionally, guests can go for hikes, bird watching, mountain biking, and explore the 4x4 trails on the property.

It is important to note that loud music or noise is not allowed at Bundu River Lodge, as the aim is to provide a relaxing and peaceful environment for guests to enjoy nature. Pets are not permitted on the premises. The venue can accommodate up to 100 guests, and catering services, tables, and chairs can be arranged. Each self-catering room is equipped with a double bed, linen, towels, bathroom, kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, kettle, cutlery, and induction stove), coffee/tea station, and a fan or heater.
