Casa Cara Resort

Casa Cara Resort is a resort that offers a wide range of accommodation options, including luxury self-catering units and campsites situated on the banks of the Vaal River, approximately 8 kilometers outside of Paris. It also serves as a beautiful and romantic wedding and function venue, featuring an outdoor timber deck that stretches over a large dam, surrounded by water.

The Resort has a total capacity of accommodating 32 guests. The self-catering accommodation units are located within the Resort itself and include standard, deluxe, and superior options. Each unit is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, ceiling fan, king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, and a braai area. Some units have their own outdoor living area with a bush Lapa and a kitchen.

Tent accommodation is available in the form of luxury sailing tents that can be rented for most of the units. The caravan sites are equipped with their own braai, toilet, shower, basin, power points, and fishing spot.

Casa Cara Resort is situated within the Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The fields surrounding the resort are home to numerous native wildflowers and shrubs.

The resort features an entertainment area with a playground, swimming pool, and a restaurant located approximately 700 meters from the accommodation. The use of the playground and pool is included in the rate, while access to the zoo requires an additional fee of R50 per person.

The stunning Baracca accommodation consists of two rooms with king-size beds and one room with a bunk bed (Single on Double), along with two bathrooms. It includes a private boma and a communal fishing spot, offering a stunning view of the veldt. The Baracca accommodation is approximately 700 meters from the Vaal River.
