Gnome Cottage

Gnome Cottage is a uniquely shaped building located in Clarens, South Africa. It is situated in a pretty, enclosed garden and is a short walking distance from the town's center, which features art galleries, restaurants, and interesting shops. The cottage comprises a comfortable double bed, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchenette for self-catering, and a living and dining area.

The cottage provides quality linen, towels, toiletries, heating, and an electric blanket in winter. A complimentary tea and coffee tray is also offered. The cottage is sanitized before each check-in.

Pets are accepted at Gnome Cottage, but there are specific rules in place. Pets must be house-trained, have their own beds, and are not allowed to sleep with guests or on the beds or chairs. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, paying for or repairing any damages caused, and not leaving their pets alone for more than an hour to prevent disturbances to neighbors.

The cottage is situated a few meters away from a wide choice of hiking trails in the conservation area. Nearby attractions include two excellent golf courses, tennis courts, trout fishing spots, historic explorations, dinosaur trails, horse riding, and game viewing opportunities. Guests can also take a day trip to Afriski in Lesotho and visit caves along the way, provided they have their passports.

Gnome Cottage is an open-plan cottage with one double bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchenette suitable for self-catering. Outside, there is a large braai (barbecue) area and garden furniture.
