Haldon Estate Country Lodge

The Haldon Estate Country Lodge is situated on the outskirts of Bloemfontein, offering a uniquely tranquil atmosphere away from the noise and pollution of the city. The establishment features five unique self-catering units that can accommodate between two and five guests each. Every unit is equipped with an en-suite or shared bathroom, complete with either a bath or shower, or both. The rooms are air-conditioned or have ceiling fans, and all beds are fitted with electric blankets. Four out of the five units have complimentary WiFi access, and each unit is furnished with a portable braai.

Guests can unwind at the swimming pool or enjoy the beautiful gardens on the premises. The estate also offers a trail where visitors can take a leisurely stroll and admire the sunset over the magical gardens. Bloemfontein offers a variety of attractions and activities, including the rose gardens in Kings Park, the Naval Hill Nature Reserve, the Orchid House, and the fragrance garden for the visually impaired. Visitors can also explore the Free State National Botanical Garden, various nature reserves, and the Bloemfontein Golf Course.

The Saffron cottage is ideal for a romantic and private getaway, providing full views of the establishment's beautiful gardens. The Haldon Estate Country Lodge is pet-friendly, and children are welcome to play in the estate's gardens, which feature trampolines and a swimming pool for relaxation. The Thyme unit, specifically, has two bedrooms with a double bed and air-conditioning. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, and the second room features a single bed, a three-seater dining table, and a kitchenette with amenities such as a bar fridge, microwave, induction plate, and kettle.
