Jameson Country Cottages

Jameson Country Cottages offers six beautifully appointed cottages, each individually furnished. Some cottages have fireplaces and all have braai facilities. They are fitted with granite and Oregon kitchens, as well as Victorian bathrooms, and are set in wonderful gardens around the swimming pool overlooking the Magaliesburg Mountains in the distance.

Special touches include soap in the bathroom, a late afternoon turn down, and chocolate on each pillow! Over Christmas and Easter, there are complimentary chocolates in all the cottages. Although self-catering, a tin of home-made cookies and tea and coffee making facilities are available.

A 50% surcharge applies to one-night stays over weekends and two-night stays over long weekends. For bookings of 12 people or more, all six units must be booked to prevent large groups from disturbing other paying guests. If a large group books all the cottages, they have Jameson all to themselves without complaints from other guests. For example, no booking will be taken for 12 adults requesting cottages two, four and six; all the cottages must be booked.

Four adults are not permitted to share one large unit. The sleeper couches are primarily available for two young children traveling with their parents, children under 12 years of age. There are no televisions in the rooms.

Jameson Country Cottages has a lapa which is great for a "rustic" wedding, capable of seating 100 people comfortably and ideal for summer. However, the establishment does not supply any food/catering, drinks or seating/tables, only the venue.

The establishment is happy to accommodate any requests guests might have to help make their stay as romantic as possible. Jameson Country Cottages is family-friendly, and all children are welcome.

One of the cottages is a lovely spacious stone & thatch cottage with an open plan bedroom, lounge and part kitchen. There is a day bed for a 3rd child/adult at an extra charge. This cottage leads directly out to the pool and has a private patio with braai facilities and a full Victorian bathroom.
