Myrtle Manor

Myrtle Manor is a stunning guest house located in the blooming mountains of the Garden Route. It values luxury and comfort above all else. The guest house can accommodate 10 guests in 4 bedrooms: the Romantic Double Room, Family Suite, Garden View Room, and Bunting Room (an extra room sharing a bathroom with one of the other rooms). Each room has been elegantly designed with necessary amenities.

The Romantic Double Room can accommodate two guests and features an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. Guests can enjoy DSTV, WiFi, a mini-fridge, safe, heater/fan, hair dryer, safe, homemade rusks, and tea and coffee facilities. The Family Suite can accommodate 3 adults (or 2 adults and 2 kids aged 12 or younger), with a queen-size bed and one or two single beds. It provides warmth, cleanliness, and extra space for a perfect holiday experience. It offers a view of the Outeniqua Mountains, a flat-screen TV with full DSTV bouquet, USB plugs, a mini-bar fridge, desk, safe, homemade rusks, and coffee/tea facilities. An adjacent bathroom offers a bath and shower. Children older than 16 can be accommodated in the Bunting Room, an adjacent private room with 2 single beds sharing the bathroom.

The Garden View Suite with a starlight bathroom offers 2 comfortable single beds in a cozy room with a garden view. It features an en-suite, open-roof, starlight bathroom (shower and basin), and a shared toilet down the passage. It includes a flat-screen TV with full DSTV bouquet, homemade rusks, and coffee/tea facilities. The Bunting Room is a private room with 2 single beds sharing a bathroom - ONLY rented out with the Family room, Garden View Room, or the Double Room. It offers coffee/tea facilities with homemade rusks but no TV.

The spacious lounge offers a flat-screen TV with full DSTV bouquet, a cozy fireplace, and leather couches. Information on what to do and where to go in the Garden Route is available here. The dining room and kitchenette have spectacular garden and mountain views, with a sunny enclosed 'stoep' area for soaking up the sun in winter. This area is equipped with a large fridge/freezer, microwave, induction cooking plate, convection oven, and basic self-catering amenities.

The braai area with a sandstone fire pit is in a secluded part of the garden. Guests can enjoy Myrtle Manor's shady garden, water features, and many indigenous bird species, including the Knysna Loerie. Nearby attractions include Cradock Peak Trail, Dolphin Paragliding, and Cool Bay Wines. Guests can dine at Caloroso Cafu00e9 or House of Flavour.

Myrtle Manor offers romantic old-world interior design, soft lighting, and great attention to detail, creating the perfect atmosphere for a romantic getaway. It is located 600m from the George Golf Course and less than 5 minutes from Fancourt, making it an ideal base for golfers enjoying the top courses in the Garden Route.
