Oceanview Umkomaas is a distinguished RCI Silver Crown Resort offering spectacular ocean views from all units. The resort features a unique dining arrangement where guests provide ingredients to be prepared by a skilled on-site cook in a communal kitchen facility, as individual units do not have private kitchens. A swimming pool is available for guests' enjoyment while meals are being prepared.

The accommodation comprises six distinct units, each designed with comfort in mind and featuring stunning views of the ocean and breakers. All units are equipped with bathrooms offering either shower facilities or bath/shower combinations. The resort includes a mix of ground floor and upper-level units, with varying sleeping capacities ranging from four to six guests. Each unit has its own outdoor space, either in the form of patios with wooden picnic benches or balconies, and some include additional amenities such as weber braais and garden furniture.

Located in a prime position, the resort provides easy access to local shops, restaurants, and attractions including Umkomaas beach, Aliwal Shoal diving spots, and Umkomaas Golf Course. While swimming at Umkomaas beach is not recommended, it serves as an excellent venue for walks and sunbathing.

The property's layout includes both ground floor and first-floor units, with some having specific accessibility considerations. Unit 4, for instance, features internal steps making it unsuitable for elderly or disabled guests, while Unit 1 is not recommended for small children. Each unit offers different sleeping configurations utilizing a combination of queen beds, single beds, and sleeper sofas, complemented by multiple bathrooms in most units.
