Starting just 3km from Hermanus town, the Hemel and Aarde Valley (meaning "Heaven and Earth") stretches northeast toward Caledon. The valley's unique terroir produces exceptional cool-climate wines, particularly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that stand among South Africa's finest.
