Perdehoek Venue

Perdehoek is a working farm situated 17 kilometers from Lichtenburg. The venue offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing guests to experience a tranquil farm life. The farm features a variety of farm animals, including cattle, chickens, sheep, geese, and numerous horses. Some horses are kept in stables near the main residence and guest accommodation.

Guests are welcome to explore the farm and venture down to the veld, approximately a 20-minute walk, to view the cattle and other horses. They can enjoy a leisurely braai in the late afternoon or evening, or have a picnic in the lovely garden. The venue provides basic, comfortable, and affordable accommodation, offering guests the opportunity to relax and unwind.

Perdehoek caters to families of up to six people in one room, offering self-catering facilities and braai areas with complimentary firewood. Horse riding activities are available for children, and the spacious surroundings provide ample space for active youngsters to enjoy. The venue also features a beautiful wedding venue capable of accommodating up to 150 guests.

One of the accommodation options is a basic wooden unit, separate from Unit 12 by a thin wooden wall. It features a queen-size bed, two single beds, and a toilet behind a curtain. An additional mattress can be provided for a fifth person. The unit is equipped with linen, one towel per bed, a TV, bar fridge, and microwave. Guests have access to shared ablution facilities situated 15 meters away and a communal kitchen for cooking. The unit is surrounded by a lush, green lawn with a designated braai area.
