Strathavon Bed & Breakfast

Strathavon Bed & Breakfast, established in 2004, is a well-appointed guest house situated in the busy Sandton Metropolis. It is located a short five-minute drive from Sandton City. The bed and breakfast is easily accessible via either the M1 motorway, the main link between Johannesburg and Pretoria, or the N3 National Highway. OR Tambo International Airport is approximately a half-hour drive away.

The guest house is situated in the wooded suburb of Sandown Estates, a well-established area in Sandton Central. The homes in this sought-after area are set in large quiet gardens, a rare find in this busy city. Lush lawns and exquisitely maintained gardens surround the guest house. There is a large sparkling pool and sun deck, which the guests have full access to. The communal Braai Area is available to all the guests who seek to truly dine the "South African Way", by throwing a couple of steaks on an open fire and allowing the aroma to tempt their neighbors.

The guest lounge is a tranquil retreat after a busy day. It features a well-stocked library and plenty of board games for those quiet lazy afternoons. Early morning breakfast is served in the pub overlooking the pool. For those who require a "table d'hote" evening meal, this can be arranged with the hosts. There is a communal kitchen which all guests have full access to. All rooms are non-smoking.

The secluded double ensuite room has a private entrance and a hot beverage station. Wi-Fi is available, and there is an Android TV Box with Netflix. The guest house also offers a communal lounge area and kitchen for guests who would like to make themselves dinner or other meals in the evening. A stock of TV dinners is kept in the fridge for guests to purchase.
