The Homestead

The Homestead is a 26-bedroom guest lodge situated in the quiet sanctuary of Geluksburg in the Drakensberg. It provides a homely atmosphere and aims to offer guests value for their money at affordable prices. The lodge is located at the bottom of the Middledale Pass and serves as a tranquil hideaway, enabling visitors to escape from the stress and hustle of everyday life. The Homestead offers tastefully furnished Standard en-suite double rooms, as well as family rooms with two bedrooms sharing a bathroom. It also features an air-conditioned deluxe room and an air-conditioned honeymoon suite with a four-poster bed, double shower, and spa bath for two.

Buffet-style meals prepared with fresh produce are served in a comfortable dining room. Guests can socialize and make new friends in the cozy Scottish pub, 'The Tam o' Shanter'. There is a Lapa braai area situated next to the swimming pool, and the grounds are safe for children to play.
