The Old Hotel, dating back to the 1850s and located at Curry's Post, captures the essence and atmosphere of historic Natal. It has been beautifully restored and decorated, with the original hotel rejuvenated to offer extremely comfortable self-catering accommodation in the heart of the Natal Midlands Meander route.

The Old Hotel is situated just a few kilometers from popular wedding venues on the Meander route, such as Cranford Country House, Providence, and Old Halliwell. Its location is perfect for enjoying the picturesque Natal Midlands. The Coach House and Terbodore restaurant and coffee roaster are within walking distance, and other restaurants, including Mulberry Hill's Bistro, Tumble Downs, and Old Halliwell Hotel, are a short distance away.

The Old Hotel is within a 15-minute drive from Michaelhouse and Clifton, making it an ideal weekend base for families with children attending any of the local schools. The Main house sleeps 7 people, with three double rooms and a single room. Facilities include a TV with DStv, housekeeping, a full kitchen, a fan, braai facilities, secure parking with a remote gate, and a garden. The minimum booking requirement is for 4 people.
