The Turbine Hotel & Spa

The Turbine Hotel & Spa is a boutique 5-star hotel located in Knysna, offering guests an exceptional experience. It is situated on Thesen Island, considered one of the most prestigious locations on the Garden Route.

The hotel features 17 suites, including six luxury suites, a honeymoon suite, and a self-catering Water Club apartment. All suites have unique decor and artwork, split extra-large king beds, and secured with a card access system. The accommodation is air-conditioned with heating and cooling, and each suite has an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and bath, two basins, and heated towel rails.

The Turbine Hotel & Spa offers a variety of facilities. The Turbine Spa provides a wide range of treatments, including massages, luxurious facials, manicures, and pedicures. There is also a flow pool with a deck facing the canal, where guests can relax on sun loungers and enjoy the outdoor setting.

The Turbine Hotel & Spa is a project that transformed an old power station into a unique 5-star boutique hotel on the Garden Route. The old machinery used in the power station has been lovingly restored and forms an integral part of the hotel's aesthetics. Due to the heritage status of the power station, most of the primary components were left in position and now form an integral part of the hotel's theme.
