Thornhill Guest House is a self-catering accommodation situated within Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve, at the foothills of the Drakensberg mountains. It accommodates 6 adults and 3 children. Guests have the freedom to cook and sleep as they like, enjoying the premises at their leisure. The guest house serves as an ideal base for day safaris along the Blyde River Canyon and the Kruger Park, with packages available upon request.

Thornhill Guest House offers a tranquil escape in the wild African setting, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the silence, panoramic views, game, bird watching, and sunsets around the BOMA fire in the lapa. The property covers an exclusive 22-hectare piece of land within the Nature Reserve, with full traversing rights across the entire reserve, making it suitable for game drives, walks, or cycling.

While not a Big 5 reserve, Thornhill Guest House features a variety of wildlife, including giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, waterbuck, impala, and various other antelope species, as well as abundant birdlife. The guest house comprises three amenities: the main house with three en-suite bedrooms connected by an outside patio, a lounge, dining area, and kitchen; a lapa/BOMA/braai area with a kitchen and bar; and a pool area with a gazebo for shade, an elevated bird hide, and toilet facilities. The property offers excellent views of the mountain and wild African bush.

Guests have access to the entire house and the Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve, where they can enjoy bush walks, mountain biking, game viewing, bird watching, game drives, and sundowners from an elevated picnic spot. Additional amenities include DStv/Cable TV upon request, a R100-00 once-off "Ndlovumzi Gate Fee" per car (cash only) contributing to animal welfare and maintaining genetic diversity, and braai/BBQ wood for sale at Thornhill.

Day trips in an open safari vehicle to the Kruger Park and the Panorama Route through the Blyde River Canyon can be arranged upon request, with pick-up and drop-off services provided by an experienced guide. Cultural village tours and local village cuisine are also offered. The guest house is located in the heart of the Golden Triangle, allowing guests to enjoy day trips to the Kruger National Park's Orpen Gate and Phalaborwa Gates, the magnificent Blyde River Canyon, and other wildlife activities in the area.

The nearest town, Hoedspruit, offers ATMs, restaurants, local tourist shops, grocery stores, and butcher shops. While a 4x4 or 2x4 vehicle is not required to access all roads within Ndlovumzi, it may enhance the game viewing experience, which is also possible on bush walks and mountain biking (mountain bicycle only). Each room features an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin, accommodating 2 adults and 2 children.
