Vaal De Sioleh

Vaal de Sioleh is a self-catering accommodation and wedding venue located 20 kilometers outside the town of Parys, in the Free State province of South Africa. It is situated right on the banks of the Vaal River, offering beautiful views of the surrounding area. The establishment offers 18 fully equipped self-catering units with views overlooking the river, making it an ideal destination for anglers and those interested in fishing for yellowfish.

The venue features a thatched-roof chapel situated on the premises, directly on the banks of the Vaal River. When facing the priest during ceremonies, the chapel windows provide panoramic views of the river, creating a romantic setting for weddings. The venue has hosted numerous spectacular weddings and can accommodate up to 140 guests with a dance floor. Couples can contact the venue to arrange tailor-made wedding packages to suit their needs.

Additionally, Vaal de Sioleh offers a self-catering guesthouse that can accommodate up to eight guests. The guesthouse features one double room with an en-suite bathroom with a bath, one double room with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and two additional rooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds) that share a bathroom with a shower. The main bedroom is equipped with air conditioning. The guesthouse also includes a large veranda with scenic views of the river and mountains, as well as a braai (barbecue) facility.
