Why Not Guest Lodge

The WhyNot Guest Lodge & Restaurant is a stunning historical building located on the N12, approximately 13.6 kilometers (10 minutes) from the Bloemhof Dam. It offers accommodation in the form of chalets and serves mouth-watering meals.

The establishment comprises 57 en-suite thatched chalets, with 28 air-conditioned chalets at WhyNot Restaurant & Guest Lodge (80 Prince Street) and 29 chalets with fans at WhyNot Rustique (2 Joubert Street). All standard, self-catering, and superior chalets are equipped with coffee/tea facilities and DStv. Complimentary WiFi is available at selected chalets, the WhyNot Restaurant, and the pub.

Safe parking is provided in front of the chalets or in the parking area on the premises, which is secured with electric fencing and security cameras. The WhyNot Restaurant & Guest Lodge offers warm and loving service to all its guests, treating them like family from the moment they arrive.

The WhyNot Restaurant & Pub (Prince Street) offers mouth-watering a la carte menus and is fully licensed. It caters to various preferences and provides take-away meals between 07:00 and 21:00, as well as buffets. The WhyNot Pub features a big screen, darts, and pool tables.

The establishment also offers conference facilities (6), braai areas, and a conference hall (2) with air conditioning. The lapa with swimming pools, a trampoline, a sandpit, and swings is a main attraction for children and adults alike.
