1 Mountain Rd Boutique B & B is a newly completed establishment that represents the culmination of a dream that the hosts, Sanchia and Ray, took five years to turn into reality. They identified this idyllic spot while on a motorcycle tour of South Africa in 2014, and immediately fell in love with the view, deciding then that this is where they would like to spend their retirement years. The vista is so special and awe-inspiring that they resolved to share it with those who would find as much pleasure in it as they do, hence the inclusion of their B&B rooms.

1 Mountain Rd, being both their address and the establishment's name, is a unique boutique-style B&B overlooking the village of Fish Hoek. It comprises 4 spacious and luxuriously appointed double rooms, each with panoramic views over Fish Hoek village as well as across False Bay as far as the Hottentots Hollands mountains. 1 Mountain Rd lends itself particularly to couples, and they regret that they do not accept children. While on their premises, all guests are covered for any emergency medical treatment by Cape Medical Response.

Guests can opt for a continental breakfast in the on-site breakfast room or a full English breakfast served on the beach at the Beachcomber Bistro, a beachfront restaurant located 400m below the B&B. The hosts have partnered with the Beachcomber Bistro to offer guests over 30 breakfast options served in an idyllic setting just meters from the waves. Breakfast is served from 07h30 and is available all day.

The hosts, Sanchia and Ray, are committed to providing a unique personalized stay that will live long in the memories of their guests. Their small and personal boutique B&B is ideally suited for couples seeking comfort, peace, and quiet while enjoying the spectacular sea and mountain views offered by every room. It is in sight of and just a few kilometers from the magnificent, well-renowned Clovelly golf course. Other nearby popular golf courses are Westlake (12 km) and Steenberg (18km). Unfortunately, they do not accommodate children under the age of 12.

The B&B directly overlooks the golden sands of Fish Hoek beach, well-renowned as a Blue Flag status swimming beach. It is also close to Muizenburg beach, which is famous for surfing and kite surfing. Elegant warm comfort gives that home away from home feeling. This spacious room is equipped with a king-size bed, but upon request, it is easily re-configurable as a twin room. The en-suite bathroom includes a shower.
