2 Night, 3 Day Tremisana Lodge Kruger Safari

Hoedspruit, Limpopo Province
from
$827
Per person for 2 nights

A 2-night, 3-day safari experience at the Tremisana Lodge in the Kruger National Park, South Africa. The package includes transfers to and from Johannesburg, daily safari departures, and a combination of comfort and wilderness exploration.

On the first day, guests are collected from various locations in Gauteng and transported to Tremisana Game Lodge in the Balule Section of Kruger Park. After settling in, they embark on a sunset drive in an open Land Cruiser, where they can observe African fauna and flora, witness the magnificent sunset, and use spotlights to locate nocturnal animals. Dinner is a bush braai at the Marula Tree Boma, and overnight accommodation is in comfortable, air-conditioned, en-suite thatched chalets.

On the second day, guests drive to the Orpen Gate of Kruger and transfer to a custom-built, open-sided game viewer vehicle. This allows for excellent wildlife viewing, photographic opportunities, and the ability to fully experience the sights, sounds, and smells of the African bush. The guide leads the group through areas known for high concentrations of animals, including large herds of zebras, giraffes, and antelopes, as well as numerous predators.

The third day begins with a sunrise drive on the open Land Cruiser in Balule. After breakfast and an opportunity to purchase souvenirs, the group visits the awe-inspiring Blyde River Canyon and the Three Rondawels before returning to Gauteng in the late afternoon. Airport drop-off is available upon arrangement. The package is suitable for families and offers an authentic African wildlife experience as a silent spectator in the wild.

Tremisana Lodge is a popular and larger lodge in the Balule section of Kruger Park. It offers well-appointed chalets, a guest house, and amenities such as thatched roofs, insect screens, air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and tea/coffee stations in each unit. The overall atmosphere is relaxing, with subdued lighting along walkways, a boma for sharing dinner around a crackling fire, and a lapa with hammocks overlooking a waterhole.
