2 Night Classic Kruger Safari Package

This 3-day Kruger Park Hotel Safari Package offers a relaxing yet exciting experience in the iconic Kruger National Park. It provides the benefits of a Kruger Park self-drive safari vacation without the added burden of self-catering. The package includes a rental car for three days, a half-day guided afternoon game drive in Kruger Park, two nights' accommodation in an air-conditioned luxury room, and breakfast and dinner as per the itinerary.

On Day 1, guests will pick up their rental car in Johannesburg and drive for approximately 4 hours through the Mpumalanga escarpment to Kruger National Park, where they will stay at a hotel close to the main entrance gate. The afternoon is at leisure to relax at the hotel, cool off in the pool, or have sundowners at the pool deck bar overlooking the river. Guests can also choose to start exploring Kruger Park with their rental car. Dinner is included at the hotel.

On Day 2, after a leisurely buffet-style breakfast at the hotel, guests will be picked up from reception at approximately 12:00 to enter Kruger Park with their guide on an open safari vehicle. The rest of the afternoon will be spent in Kruger Park, with opportunities for amazing wildlife sightings and learning about the area's wildlife, natural environment, birds, and cultures from the guide. Drop-off back at the hotel will be around 18:00, and guests will have the evening at leisure with a dinner feast, including authentic cultural entertainment.

On Day 3, guests can opt to get up early and do a self-drive trip to try and spot any animals they may have missed, or use the day for a sightseeing journey back to Johannesburg via the Panorama Route.

The hotel offers Dee's African Spa experience with a range of massages, manicures, facials, and pedicures available on the Protea Hotel Kruger Gate deck or in the privacy of guests' rooms. Leisure and sporting activities at the hotel near Kruger include miniature golf, a tennis court, a children's playground, and a refreshing swimming pool. The air-conditioned rooms are furnished with comfortable extra-length beds, a spacious work desk, a flat-screen television, an L-shaped Day Bed suitable for children, sliding glass doors with a screen door, and balconies with a wonderful view over the bush. The en-suite bathrooms feature walk-in showers.
