2 Night Kruger Adventurer Getaway Package

Central Kruger Park, Mpumalanga
from
R 7,500
Per person for 2 nights

This Kruger Park tented safari package is ideal for those who have limited time and do not want a luxury lodge experience but also do not want to camp out in the wild. To maximize the safari experience, the package includes flights from Johannesburg or Cape Town to an airport near the Kruger National Park. Alternatively, a daily shuttle leaves Johannesburg for Kruger Park for a more affordable option, although the journey takes approximately 6-7 hours and limits the time on safari.

On Day 1, guests arrive in the Kruger National Park in the late afternoon, with time for leisure activities like swimming, shopping, or strolling around the camp. If time permits, they embark on the first game drive, where they may spot elephants or impala, and the guide shares stories and knowledge about the wildlife and vegetation. In the evening, guests gather around the fire, sip drinks, and enjoy a barbeque/braai dinner before retiring to their comfortable safari tent pitched on a wooden platform.

On Day 2, an early morning wake-up call signals the start of the second day on safari. After coffee and a snack, guests begin their early morning safari drive, which is the perfect time to spot active predators. They return to camp for breakfast and have time to relax during the hottest part of the day. In the afternoon, they set out on another game drive, potentially spotting rhinos or lions, while the guide discusses plant uses and the region's history. A delicious barbeque/braai dinner is served by the camp chefs.

On Day 3, depending on transfer times, there may be time for a morning game drive before breakfast. Guests then have the opportunity to leave their footprints in the soil of Africa before transferring back to Johannesburg and beyond, marking the end of their Tented Kruger Park Safari Adventure.

The package includes shuttle road transfer from/to Johannesburg (with an additional cost for return flights from Johannesburg or Cape Town), two nights' accommodation in a comfortable canvas safari tent with communal ablutions inside the Kruger National Park, game drives in customized safari vehicles accompanied by an experienced English-speaking guide, breakfast and dinner as per the itinerary, tea, coffee, and limited local wine, beer or soft drinks with dinner only, as well as Kruger National Park conservation fees and entrance fees. Optional bushwalks, night game drives, drinks, meals, and extras not mentioned are excluded.
