27 Degrees South Safaris is situated at the foot of the Langeberg Mountain, just outside of the town of Olifantshoek, on one of the routes from Cape Town to Namibia. The establishment is located in a vast landscape with expansive views, abundant wildlife, and rugged natural beauty. It is owned and operated by Hansie and Jessie du Bruyn, who welcome guests seeking various experiences, including family getaways, solitude, companionship, romance, adventure, leisure activities, team building events, and educational programs.

The lodge offers accommodations for up to 20 guests in seven en-suite chalets, some with private boma areas. Additionally, there is a bush camp facility that can accommodate up to 50 guests in Kalahari stone-canvas structures, including two "bush" rooms with two single beds each, ablution facilities, an African Boma, and a "movies under the stars" facility. Guests can enjoy activities such as game viewing safaris, horse riding safaris, walking trails, bird watching, star gazing, clay pigeon and airgun shooting, cooling off in farm dams, team building events, leadership safaris, veld schools, birthday parties, and weddings.

The in-house Chef, Chef Manus, specializes in venison dishes and offers exquisite culinary experiences suitable for all ages. Guests can enjoy Kalahari breakfast on the breakfast patio, light lunches on the air-cooled patio, and stylish multi-course dinners accompanied by a selection of fine Kalahari wines. Self-catering guests can order picnic baskets and grill specially selected meat cuts at their private boma areas. African Boma nights, featuring a selection of Kalahari venison and locally produced wines, are a highlight not to be missed (booking required).

The establishment provides an airport shuttle service (maximum 6 guests) between Sishen Airport and the lodge, with prior booking required. Weddings can be accommodated for up to 120 guests, allowing couples to enjoy the spectacular Kalahari plains, game viewing safaris, and intimate moments in the African bush setting. Children of all ages are welcome, with various activities available, including nature trails, guided safari trips, swimming in farm dams, obstacle courses, shoot-the-balloon games, and a super Kalahari slide.

The bush camp includes two basic rooms in a barn, each with two single beds (linen provided), a 5-star ablution facility with gas showers, toilets, basins, and two dishwashing facilities. An African Boma with braai facilities is shared among guests, and one complimentary bundle of firewood per day is provided. While there is no electricity, meals can be enjoyed at the main lodge restaurant or, by prior arrangement, set up and served by the private chef at the African Boma. The bush camp area can accommodate pets, although it is an open space without a secure fenced perimeter. Guests can join a complimentary game drive or safari walk in the late afternoon or early morning.
