It features a large indoor SOLAR heated pool that can be utilized during the SUMMER MONTHS ONLY, as the pool is not warm during the winter months (April - September) due to insufficient sunlight to warm it. Additionally, the property includes a braai area, a pizza oven, and a spacious garden that provides a fantastic entertainment area, which can be opened out onto from the pool.

The balcony and the glass-enclosed dining room offer spectacular views of the mountains. The house enjoys a prime location within walking distance of all the amenities the town of Franschhoek has to offer, including many fantastic restaurants. Franschhoek, known as the French corner of the Cape, lies in one of the most beautiful wine valleys in the world, situated only 45 minutes from Cape Town and within half an hour of the Stellenbosch, Paarl, Wellington, and Somerset West wine routes. This traditionally French town is the food and wine capital of the country.

Franschhoek's village features a wonderful collection of art, antique shops, and galleries, while the main streets are lined with restaurants and coffee shops. It is easy to spend a day here, and it serves as an excellent springboard to other wine routes and the Four Passes Fruit Route, of which Franschhoek is also a part. There are a number of walking trails in the surrounding mountains for the more energetic visitors.

It is important to note that there are three long-term tenants living on the property in separate flats. They do not share any facilities with the guests, except for the driveway. They are quiet and decent people, and their presence does not compromise the privacy of the guests in the house.

The property is a modern 4-star, 3-bedroom self-catering house located just off the main road in Franschhoek. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms have queen beds, while one bedroom has two single beds that can be made into a king bed if desired.
