41 Licorna Beach

The '41 Licorna Beach' establishment is an air-conditioned three-bedroom apartment with three bathrooms, including a main en-suite. It features a double shower, and the main bedroom has a Jacuzzi bath. The lounge and main bedroom open onto an extra-large patio with beach and breaker views.

The apartment accommodates four beds (two singles, one king, and one queen), a three-quarter sleeper couch, and a large L-shaped couch in the lounge. It is fully equipped for 6-7 people, including bath towels, linens, cutlery, crockery, a microwave, and a stove. A TV is provided. The apartment offers direct access to Umhlanga's world-class Blue Flag bathing beaches.

The apartment is situated in a secure gated complex with a swimming pool, ablution and braai area set in landscaped gardens. Undercover parking is included, along with a 'manned' reception. Laundry and servicing facilities are available on-site. The walk along the promenade leads to beaches, a nature trail to Umhlanga lagoon, hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, and Umhlanga shopping center. It is a five-minute drive from Gateway (South Africa's largest shopping/entertainment center) and La Lucia Mall (a very upmarket shopper's paradise).

For golfers, there are five excellent golf courses within a 15-minute drive radius from Umhlanga. Three large casinos are also located within the same radius. A twenty-minute drive leads to Durban, where there is the new uShaka Marine and Entertainment World, a harbor, a yacht club, waterfront restaurants, and theatres. Umhlanga also offers dolphin viewing and scuba diving opportunities.

The establishment is a two-and-a-half-hour drive from four of the 'Big Five' game parks and the incomparable St. Lucia wetlands, and a two-hour drive from the Drakensberg Mountain range and the acclaimed 'Midlands Meander'.
