'48 On Main' is a centrally located room close to the main beach and the business centre of town. It does not have cooking facilities and allows a maximum stay of two nights, accommodating only two adults for sleeping purposes. Visitors can climb the Cape Agulhas Lighthouse and explore the southernmost tip of Africa where the two oceans meet. Struisbaai harbour offers an opportunity to feed stingrays or enjoy a locally brewed beer while watching the boats return with their daily catch.

Struisbaai features one of the longest white sandy beaches in the southern hemisphere, stretching for 14km, which is ideal for leisurely strolls along the water's edge. For keen horse riders, Morning Glory, situated in Struisbaai, offers horse trails along this incredible beach. Bredasdorp is home to one of the only shipwreck museums in the world and is definitely worth a visit. A slow drive to the Moravian Missionary Station at Elim, stopping for lunch at the handful of wineries along the way, is recommended.
