5 Night, 6 Day Padi Diving Course Package

The '5 Night, 6 Day PADI Diving Course Package' involves learning how to scuba dive in Cape Town, South Africa. It is offered only on Sundays or Mondays. On the first day, participants are welcomed at the airport and transported to the 5-star SaltyCrax Backpackers in Blouberg, where they spend the night after a traditional South African meal and an opportunity to mingle with other guests.

On the second and third days, participants receive formal lectures and video tutorials on scuba diving, followed by practice sessions in a heated dive pool in the afternoons. The course follows a performance-based learning approach, allowing students to progress at their own pace until they demonstrate their water skills with comfort and confidence.

The fourth day involves the final exam and the first sea dive, where participants are assisted by qualified instructors. On the fifth day, participants have a free day to relax on the beach or engage in additional activities such as shark-cage diving, skydiving, or sandboarding (at their own expense). The package includes accommodation at SaltyCrax Backpackers, equipment rental, course materials, two shore dives, two boat dives, a welcome dinner, and breakfast on all mornings.

Blouberg is renowned for kitesurfing, water sports, and its stunning views of Table Mountain and the ocean. The package includes mixed dorm accommodation at SaltyCrax Backpackers, with the option to upgrade to double or en-suite rooms at an additional charge. It is highly recommended not to fly out on the day after deep sea diving.
