50 Shades Of Hay

The farm known as '50 Shades Of Hay' is situated in the Groenerivier Estate, approximately 45 kilometers outside of Cape Town. It hosts a bed and breakfast establishment called '50 Shades Bed and Breakfast' as well as a unique venue for weddings and events named 'The Stables'. The rooms at the bed and breakfast offer comfortable bedrooms, equipped with either queen or twin beds, and private en-suite bathrooms. Complimentary tea and coffee are provided in the rooms.

Located on a small holding, the establishment aims to provide guests with a peaceful and quiet environment. As part of its promotion of escaping the rat race, there are no televisions in the rooms. While offering a retreat from the bustle of city life, the farm is conveniently located near beaches and attractions. A simple continental breakfast consisting of cereals, yogurt, fruit, toast, and drinks is served in the clubhouse.

The farm has facilities to host events and functions of various sizes. It is self-sufficient in terms of portable water, sourced from a borehole, and not dependent on or supplied by any municipal water. Although the farm does not unnecessarily waste this precious resource, it has sufficient stored water to ensure a clean and comfortable stay for guests.

The Stables, the farm's stunning wedding and events venue, is a unique facility that can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests. Large fields are also available for outdoor activities. The farm offers a single room with a queen bed and a single bed, suitable for a child or a small adult.
