7 On Oakleigh is a self-catering accommodation establishment situated in the leafy upmarket suburb of Wembley, north of Pietermaritzburg, and less than five kilometres from the city centre. It is ideally located for guests visiting city events such as the Royal and Garden Shows, Hilton Arts Festival, Art and Cars in the Park, and the start of both the Duzi and Comrades Marathon.

Unit 1 is a cosy studio apartment featuring an open-plan design with an inviting king-size bed with soft bedding, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a living space. The kitchenette includes a mini-stove with two hotplates and a small oven, a microwave, a bar fridge, a toaster, and tea and coffee facilities. There is a wall-mounted TV with DStv to one side, along with a dressing table and dining area.

Unit 2 is a spacious and bright garden flat comprising a separate bedroom with a choice of King or twin beds with luxurious bedding and a desk-cum-dressing table, a large bathroom with a shower, and an entrance hall with additional seating. The open-plan lounge has a comfortable sleeper couch that sleeps two, chairs, and a wall-mounted TV with DStv. The well-appointed kitchenette with a bar counter and stools for dining has a mini-stove with two hotplates and a small oven, a microwave, a bar fridge, a toaster, and tea and coffee facilities.

For additional guests, there is an adjoining room down the veranda from unit 2, with a comfortable double bed with soft cream bedding, a desk, dressing table, and tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom is shared with the garden flatlet. Guests also have access to a swimming pool, braai area, and garden. The area features camera surveillance with a manned guard hut, and secure off-street parking is provided with remote-controlled access. A laundry and daily cleaning service is available upon request.
