A Bit of Home offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in Great Brak River. It is situated in a tranquil and quiet neighborhood in a cul-de-sac, making it an ideal stopover location midway between George and Mossel Bay. This central location is convenient for day trips to Oudtshoorn, Calitzdorp, Ladismith, Knysna, and Plettenberg Bay.

Accommodation is provided in two fully equipped self-catering units. One unit sleeps up to two guests, while the other can accommodate up to four guests. The One-bedroom Unit is suitable for a couple, and the Two-bedroom Unit is perfect for a family. These neat and tidy self-catering units offer comfortable accommodations with views of the mountain and golf course. They are within walking distance from the sea, and there are plenty of lovely beaches and great fishing spots nearby.

Full DSTV bouquet is available upon request at a cost of R35.00 per day or part thereof. Payment for this service can be made upon arrival, along with the key deposit. Each flat has a balcony equipped with a Weber braai for outdoor braaivleis.

The One-bedroom Unit can accommodate two adults sharing a double bed. The bedroom contains a double bed, and there is also a sleeper couch in the lounge area, suitable for a young child. The kitchen and lounge area are open plan, and the kitchen is equipped with a four-plate gas hob, fridge, microwave, and all the necessary utensils. This unit only has a shower, no bath. A Weber braai is available on the balcony, and the full DSTV bouquet is available. Parking on the street is quite safe, but undercover parking can be arranged at a cost of R30.00 per day, payable upon arrival.
