Aan De Vliet Holiday Resort

Aan De Vliet Holiday Resort is situated in the picturesque Sabie valley on the banks of the Sabie River. It is located 8 kilometers from Hazyview and 20 kilometers from the Kruger National Park's Phabeni Gate. The resort offers self-catering chalets that can accommodate 2 to 5 guests. It also caters for functions, weddings, and conferences.

Three types of self-catering units are available: STREAM Units (suitable for couples), RIVER Units (maximum 4 to 5 guests), and GARDEN Units (maximum 4 or 5 guests). All units are equipped with outdoor braai areas, air conditioning, ceiling fans, showers, basins, toilets, gas stoves, microwave ovens, and refrigerators. The main bedrooms have double beds, while the dining areas have built-in single beds. The resort does not provide televisions in the units.

The resort features two outdoor swimming pools (main and toddler), a children's play area, picnic spots next to the Sabie River, an indoor bush pub, a lounge with television, a breakfast room, two halls for functions, conferences and weddings, a river lapa, and a tuck shop. Scenic attractions nearby include the famous Panorama Route, Blyde River Canyon (the world's largest green canyon), giant potholes, God's Window, and awe-inspiring waterfalls. The Kruger National Park, which hosts the famous African Big 5, is 20 kilometers away and can be explored independently or with a tour operator on a game viewing vehicle.

The nearby rustic town of Pilgrim's Rest offers the chance to relive the 1873 gold rush. Action-packed activities in the area include golf courses, river rafting, sky trails, quad biking, and elephant walks. Other attractions include the Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canyon, God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Pilgrim's Rest, golf courses, river rafting, quad biking, elephant encounters, and zip lines.

The resort features a beautiful lush lawn and huge trees on the banks of the Sabie River. The River Lapa can accommodate 50 guests, and the Big Hall can accommodate up to 150 guests. Picnic baskets can be ordered for couples to enjoy a romantic lunch on the banks of the Sabie River. Additional facilities include volleyball and table tennis courts, a lush lawn, and beautiful gardens.
