Abelana Game Reserve

Abelana Game Reserve is a 15,000-hectare (36,000-acre) Big Five game reserve located alongside the Greater Kruger National Park and the Selati Game Reserve in South Africa's captivating Lowveld region. The newly rebuilt 20-room lodge offers sublime views of the majestic Selati River, featuring an exquisite main area, a picturesque swimming pool overlooking the river, indoor and outdoor dining areas, a cozy bar, lounge, and a mesmerizing fire pit. Children aged 7-11 are allowed at the property at a 50% rate, while children aged 12 and older are charged the full rate. Children under 6 are not permitted on the property. All rooms feature thatched roofs, en-suite bathrooms, and outdoor showers, along with tea- and coffee-making facilities, a stocked mini-bar, and spacious decks overlooking the Selati River.
