Abendruhe Lodge

Abendruhe Lodge is a self-catering accommodation facility located inside the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve, approximately an hour's drive from Pretoria. It offers accommodation in three tastefully decorated log cabins, each capable of accommodating up to four guests. The open-plan cabins are air-conditioned and furnished with a king-size bed and a double bed sleeper couch.

Each cabin's bathroom is equipped with a shower, basin, and toilet. The kitchens are fully equipped with appliances such as a double-door refrigerator/freezer, gas stove, microwave oven, water cooler, and coffee-making facilities. The living areas feature a television with a full DStv bouquet, and each cabin has a spacious deck with braai (barbecue) facilities. Wi-Fi is available for all guests.

The lodge provides a swimming pool with a lapa (thatched shelter) for guest use. Dinokeng Game Reserve offers various activities for guests to enjoy, including game drives, hot-air ballooning, restaurants, and a brewery. Game drives are offered twice daily at a cost of R300 per adult and R150 per child (minimum of four guests) or R375 per adult (minimum of two guests).

The bush-facing cabin features a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a sofa that can be used as a bed, a fully equipped open-plan kitchen for self-catering (including all necessary appliances), a patio with braai facilities, and a private boma (enclosed outdoor area). Additionally, it offers a view of a waterhole.
