Abuelita Hostel

Abuelita Hostel is a newly opened establishment located approximately 3 km outside Lephalale (Ellisras), Limpopo Province, South Africa. It is an old farmhouse that has recently been renovated into four basic dormitory-style rooms that can accommodate groups of 3 up to 12 laborers or contractors. The hostel offers affordable budget accommodation and strives to meet the needs of companies.

The hostel is conveniently situated with easy access to Medupi and other construction sites in and around the town. Guests can enjoy the magnificent Waterberg District and the facilities that Ellisras has to offer. Booking options include reserving the full unit of all four rooms or smaller group bookings of three to twelve guests. The rooms are dormitory-style, and bathrooms and living areas are shared.

Abuelita Hostel is a privately owned company run by the Versfeld-Family. The family recently decided to renovate the farmhouse into a hostel where guests can enjoy their warm hospitality. The name "Abuelita" honors the late grandmother of the family, who was born in Argentina and immigrated to South Africa as a young woman. The word "Abuelita" translates to "grandmother" in Spanish, which was her home language.

The owner-run Abuelita Hostel is set in the tranquil bushveld and offers visitors a friendly, peaceful, and comfortable home away from home. The establishment with its four dormitory-style rooms aims to make guests feel instantly welcome and at ease.
