African Flair Country Lodge

African Flair Country Lodge is a charming bed and breakfast establishment located 700m outside Piet Retief on the N2 Ermelo road in Mpumalanga, South Africa. The lodge features an authentic African-styled design with thatched roofing and accommodates guests in four comfortable queen-size rooms and two family units, the latter equipped with both a queen-size bed and two single beds.

The property boasts a distinctive farm/country atmosphere, enclosed by an African-inspired fence that maintains security while preserving views of grazing game and the scenic tree-lined background. Each room comes with dedicated under-roof secure parking, conveniently located just steps away from the accommodation. The property also offers ample parking space suitable for trailers and boats.

Strategically positioned in southern Mpumalanga, the lodge serves as an ideal stopover point between KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng, as well as between KwaZulu-Natal and the Lowveld Mpumalanga (Kruger). Its location also makes it perfect for day trips to Swaziland and birding expeditions in Wakkerstroom. The lodge's grounds feature indigenous plants and trees, attracting various wild bird species, including a resident colony of guinea fowls. Each room is thoughtfully appointed with a dining/sitting area and a full bathroom, ensuring a comfortable stay for guests.
