African Nest (Guest Suite)

The African Nest is a unique and beautifully thatched accommodation located in the leafy suburb of Constantia in Cape Town. It was built using many natural materials, creating visual interest and giving it a rustic charm with a distinct African character. The upstairs open plan guest suite features a fully equipped kitchenette with a variety of condiments for guests' convenience, a hot and cold water dispenser, a washing machine and dryer, a dishwasher, a kettle, coffee plungers, beverage making machines, a microwave, a gas stove with an electric oven, and a full-size refrigerator/freezer in addition to the mini-fridges in each guestroom.

The accommodation offers a relaxed, safe, and secluded sanctuary away from the urban hustle and bustle and everyday stresses. A staircase of 16 steps leads from the entrance door and foyer to the upstairs open plan guest suite, which is solely for the use and enjoyment of guests. All rooms have exposed thatch and exude a rustic atmosphere. The lounge has views of the mountain, garden, and pool.

Code-locked doors lead guests to their respective two bedrooms, both of which are full en-suite. The bathrooms are fitted with double basins, toilet, shower, bath, heated towel rails, and a bin. Both bedrooms have views of the garden, pool, and thatched Lapa area and are equipped with free and fast WiFi, two wicker chairs, a mini safe, a mini-fridge, a hair dryer, a ceiling fan, an air conditioner, mosquito repellents, a flat-screen Smart TV, satellite DSTV, and a wardrobe and drawers.

The hostess lives in the same building but in a separate section of the house downstairs.
