African Sky

African Sky is a self-catering house located in Marloth Park, a nature conservancy bordering the Kruger National Park. It offers a comfortable stay for individuals or groups seeking a weekend or extended holiday in the African bush. The house is situated close to a waterhole, approximately 10 meters away, where various wildlife such as zebras, kudus, warthogs, impalas, baboons, giraffes, and over 100 bird species can be observed drinking.

The double-story house features two en-suite bedrooms with double beds on the ground floor and a loft with two single beds on the first floor. It is equipped with a fully-equipped kitchen, allowing guests to prepare their meals. Alternatively, Marloth Park offers several restaurants and pubs for dining out.

The house is air-conditioned, providing a comfortable indoor environment, and includes an outdoor splash pool for cooling off during warm summer days. A lapa area with a barbecue facility and seating around a fire pit is available, allowing guests to enjoy sundowners while taking in the African sunset.

For those interested in the Big Five, the Crocodile Bridge entrance to the Kruger National Park is less than 20 kilometers away, offering opportunities for self-driven day visits or booking open-vehicle game drives. Guests can plan day trips to the Kruger National Park and return to the house to enjoy a barbecue around the fire in the lapa, immersing themselves in the nightlife and sounds of the African bush.

The house can accommodate up to six people, with three bedrooms consisting of two double beds and two single beds. Guests can relax on the balcony or veranda while sipping wine and observing various animals coming to drink at the waterhole. Additionally, guests can place banana slices on the veranda wall to witness the acrobatics of bush babies as they feast at sunset.
