Afrishare Volunteer Home Base

Afrishare Volunteer Home Base is a backpacker-style accommodation located in Moshi, near Mount Kilimanjaro. Previously, the house was primarily used for volunteers, but now it is open to the general public. The accommodation consists of three bedrooms and four shared bathrooms. It provides guests with beds, linens, housekeeping services, laundry facilities, security, three meals a day, and snacks. The meals served include both international and local cuisine.

The host, Ibrahim, offers additional services such as organizing safaris and treks for guests, as well as providing transportation to various facilities and attractions. The home base adheres to a strict code of conduct for various reasons, one of which is that guests must be legally married in order to share a room. Additionally, no alcohol is permitted on the premises.
