Agama Lodge

Agama Lodge is a stylish and contemporary accommodation situated in the Namib Naukluft Park, strategically located on the C19 between Solitaire and Sesriem. Recently upgraded from Agama River Camp, the lodge serves as an ideal base for exploring Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and Sesriem Canyon, positioned approximately 40 minutes from the Sesriem park gate.

The property features 40 chalets in total, split between 20 standard (32m²) and 20 deluxe (36m²) units. All chalets are free-standing and constructed in a rustic style along the upper banks of the Dieprivier river course. Standard chalets feature polished plaster bathrooms, while deluxe units offer more luxurious specifications including marble-clad bathrooms. Each unit comes equipped with air conditioning, en-suite facilities, private shaded patios, and tea/coffee making facilities. A unique feature is the sky bed option available on private roof terraces, offering guests the opportunity to sleep under the stars.

The main lodge area includes a restaurant serving fresh, high-quality cuisine including home-baked bread, continental breakfast options, and dinner menus featuring Namibian beef and game cuts, complemented by vegetables from their own garden. The facility boasts the largest infinity pool in the park, offering panoramic views across the Namib desert. A cozy bar and common areas provide comfortable spaces for relaxation.

Additional amenities include WiFi access throughout the property, and guests can enjoy entertainment from the resident warthog family. The lodge offers various activities including guided day trips to Sossusvlei, scenic sundowner drives, sunrise nature drives, and guided scorpion walks. The establishment is known for its friendly staff, attention to detail, and the stunning backdrop of the Namib Naukluft Mountains.
