Airport Lodge

The Airport Lodge is a lodging establishment located approximately 50 meters behind OR Tambo International Airport. It offers en-suite bathroom luxury rooms with rates starting from 100 per room. The lodge features several amenities, including a granite/marble stone kitchen with gas hob and oven, a dining area, a TV lounge area, and internet access. Additionally, it provides monthly specials, where guests can pay a fixed rate per person per night when booking for an extended period upfront.

The lodge offers complimentary facilities such as a pool, a pool table, a lower bar, braai areas, kids' play areas, and a TV lounge. The upper bar has a self-service option monitored by 24-hour surveillance. Transportation services are available, with approximate Uber prices provided for various destinations like the OR Tambo International Airport, East Rand Mall, Sandton City, and Pretoria.

Dining options are available at over 10 restaurants within walking distance from the lodge. A refundable cash deposit of R200 is required for the room key, and an optional R200 refundable deposit is requested for the remote control. The lodge hosts pool parties, events, and functions in the garden area. It also features an executive solar-powered suite, suitable for honeymoon stays. Children's facilities include a jungle gym, an outside play area, and a sandpit.

The rooms are basic and not deluxe, equipped with twin beds, a TV, a bar fridge, a desk, and a chair. The bathroom facilities are located just outside the room.
