Akkedis House

Akkedis House is a private residence located in the Glencairn area of Cape Town, South Africa. It is situated approximately 40 minutes' drive from Cape Town's central business district and the V&A Waterfront. The property is within walking distance of the beach, which is 7 minutes away, and the Glencairn Wetlands, which are located across the road.

The house features three spacious bedrooms, a family bathroom with a bathtub and shower, and an en-suite bathroom attached to the main bedroom. The living room and dining area are open-plan and include a fireplace and a SMART television with Wi-Fi connectivity. The kitchen is large and leads to a covered entertainment area. Additionally, there is a small library containing books about South African history and Australian politics.

Guests can enjoy beautiful views of the mountain from the two gardens, lower and upper. The premises can accommodate parking for two to three vehicles, and there is also off-street parking available.

Simon's Town, a nearby seaside town, is a short 10-minute drive from the house towards the south. It offers various restaurants, coffee shops, and boutique shops. There is also a vibrant African market in the parking area. A further 10-minute drive south from Simon's Town leads to Boulders Beach, where visitors can see penguins, and the Cape Point Nature Reserve.

Harborside Mall, with restaurants, food, wine, and clothing shopping options, is a 3-minute drive towards Simonstown. Fish Hoek CBD, located equidistantly north, provides all the necessary shops and amenities for stocking up on supplies and shopping. Long Beach Mall and Sun Valley Mall are both within a 10-minute drive towards Noordhoek. Additionally, a SPAR supermarket at Glencairn is available for quick grocery and liquor runs.

The house features an indoor fireplace for cozy nights, even during the summer months.
