Almondbury Guest Farm

Almondbury Guest Farm is situated between the picturesque Langeberg Mountains, approximately 6 kilometres from the centre of Robertson. It offers rustic but comfortable shabby-chic self-catering accommodation in the form of The Old Barn, which can sleep 8 guests, as well as two wooden cabins that can accommodate two guests each. The farm is an ideal getaway for those seeking peace and quiet, and it can accommodate small functions such as weddings or birthday parties for approximately 20-30 people in The Old Barn or the garden.

The farm's facilities include a cement dam for swimming during the hot summer months, as well as walking trails through the veld and orchards. Mountain biking is possible on the back roads, and there is a waterfall nearby for hiking. Dassieshoek Nature Reserve is located approximately 3 kilometres away. The Old Barn is equipped with DSTV, but guests will need to bring their own access card. Wi-Fi is available on the farm, but the reception may fluctuate. Cell phone coverage is limited and only available in certain areas of the farm.

Robertson and the surrounding areas offer various attractions, including an 18-hole golf course at Silwerstrand, numerous wine estates, the Klipdrift Brandy Distillery, and the Breede River for cruises or leisure activities. Horse-riding facilities and Birds Paradise are also located nearby. Route 62 offers small towns with arts and crafts to explore. Visitors can also choose to visit the hot springs at Avalon in Montagu for a different experience.
