Amanzi Island Lodge

Amanzi Island Lodge is situated on the banks of the Knysna Lagoon in Leisure Isle's. This peaceful beach house offers stunning vistas of the Featherbed Nature Reserve and the Knysna Heads. It serves as an ideal base for guests wishing to explore the Garden Route.

All rooms are luxuriously furnished, with views of either the garden or the lagoon, and open up onto a private balcony or deck. Each guest room is equipped with air-conditioning, TVs with M-Net and shared digital satellite, digital electronic safe, hair dryers, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Guests can relax at the swimming pool or take a nap under the old Milkwood tree. At the lodge, bicycles or canoes are available for exploring the surrounding island, or guests can venture out to experience the various activities that Knysna and the Garden Route have to offer.

After enjoying the many activities, guests can unwind at the swimming pool or at the honesty bar. A free Internet station is available in the guest lounge, or guests can enjoy a book from the library. The lodge features a private swimming pool in the garden, where local birds frequent.

Leisure Isle is a suburb rich with vegetation and home to a large variety of birds. Amanzi Island lodge is in close proximity to three golf courses in Knysna: The Knysna golf course is 1km away from the lodge, the Pezula golf course is about 5km away, and the Simola golf course is approximately 15km away.

Amanzi Island lodge has inter-leading rooms for families. Its self-catering units also accommodate families of three people. The lodge is situated right at the famous Knysna lagoon, which is tidal, with water flowing in and out naturally from the Indian Ocean through the renowned Knysna Heads. The views are over the garden and the rooftops of Leisure Isle towards the northern hills of Knysna. The room has a shower and a king-size bed.
