The palace is the creative vision of Durban artist Peter Amm, who has integrated his comprehensive collection of Zulu art and crafts throughout the property. A standout feature includes more than 40 intricately beaded columns of remarkable beauty. The architectural design was primarily executed by Kevin MacGarry of Architects Collaborative, in collaboration with Amm, who has devoted four decades to developing the site.
The guest house comprises ten luxurious suites, each housing its own private Zulu art collection.
