Anchor Creek Marina

Anchor Creek Marina is located in the town of Deneyesville on the banks of the Vaal Dam. The property provides basic self-catering accommodation and camping facilities on the water's edge. The Waterfront Units can accommodate up to eight people each, and cutlery and crockery are supplied. The Double rooms can accommodate two people each and do not have cooking facilities.

The Campsites offer grassy areas with a braai area. Due to fluctuating water levels, campsites located on the water's edge may not have access to water and electrical points. The "Vaaldam Monster" Super tube attraction is operational. Guests can enjoy meals at the Deck Restaurant, situated over the water.

The Vaal Dam offers various water activities, including boat trips, fishing, skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing. Guests can enjoy the "NEW VAALDAM Monster" Super tube attraction. Boat slippage fees may apply and should be inquired about when booking. The property features an over-the-water wedding chapel and a reception hall that can accommodate 120 persons.

Amusement park rides are available, including a double flyer, octopus, challenger, pendulum swing, paddle boats for adults and children, an inflatable water slide, electric motor boats, and bumper boats. Boat trips on the dam are also offered. Each room has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. A restaurant on-site provides meals, but the rooms are not self-catering. A day pass for the Super tube costs R50-00 per person at the marina. The swimming pool is free for guests.
