Anchorage B&B

The Anchorage B&B is located in the tranquil seaside village of Elysium. The stylish and affordable accommodation offers panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, where visitors can observe whales and dolphins frolicking in the sea during certain seasons. Each bedroom at the B&B features a balcony that overlooks the sea, allowing guests to wake up to the sounds of waves, birds singing, and majestic sunrises.

The B&B features spectacular sea views from every bedroom, creating a friendly and relaxing ambiance. A full English breakfast is served in the downstairs dining room, which opens onto the garden through large glass sliding doors, providing views of the sea or inland vegetation and sunsets. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool and gazebo, where they can relax with a cocktail, bask in the sun, or have a barbecue.

The Anchorage B&B offers four double en-suite rooms, each spacious and equipped with flat-screen TVs, a bar fridge, and a tea and coffee station. Each suite leads onto the patio, where guests can savor a morning cup of coffee or evening sundowners. While the local beach does not have shark nets, several beautiful protected beaches are located nearby. The local beach is excellent for fishing and leisurely walks, situated just 5 minutes away.

Nearby activities include golfing, go-karting, hiking, fishing, scuba diving, horse riding, exploring the Oribi Gorge, kiting, kayaking, mountain biking, ocean safaris, shopping, visiting the reptile park, Croc World, and shark cage diving. The B&B does not accommodate children under 12 years of age, but exceptions can be arranged. While the B&B does not have a chapel, the nearby Laughing Forest offers a wedding venue, and the B&B provides romantic, quiet, and tranquil accommodation for couples, including those who have gotten engaged or married on the beach.

The Umdoni Golf Course and several other golf courses are located within close range of the B&B. The beach near the accommodation offers 180-degree sea views and is rarely crowded, making it ideal for long walks. The bedrooms feature king-size beds that can be converted to twins upon request, en-suite bathrooms with large showers, flat-screen TVs with OpenView (12 channels), internet access, mini-bars, room service, safes for valuables, and fridges.
