Anford Country House

Anford Country House is situated between Johannesburg and Nelspruit, near the Kruger National Park, just off the N4 highway. It offers accommodation and bed and breakfast facilities for travelers. It is also an ideal venue for a weekend getaway, being only 2 hours away from Gauteng.

The country house is located in a natural Pine forest on the escarpment. It lies at the foot of the Steenkamps mountains and has sandstone formations. The water has cut valleys through these ancient formations, which are home to some very rare fauna and flora.

Anford Country House is situated on the Anford Estate in Mpumalanga, between Belfast and Machadodorp, on the escarpment. The original house was built in 1872 and has recently been refurbished and turned into a country house and restaurant for travelers on the N4 highway. It can accommodate 20 people in various en-suite room configurations. Additionally, a private forest cottage with three bedrooms is available.

The establishment offers standard double rooms with one double bed and a bunk bed, as well as full en-suite bathrooms with claw baths and glass showers.
