Being located on a private estate, guests have an exclusive opportunity to appreciate the variety of bird and wild life in the area. The estate features many well-stocked trout dams, ideal for fishing enthusiasts. The Ernie Els designed Highland Gate golf course is situated 8 km from the house. The house is close to the Estate Clubhouse, which has a communal swimming pool and a jungle gym area. After exploring the area, guests can return to the comfort of the house to relax with a braai and end the evening curled up next to the fireplace while enjoying a good movie.

It is recommended to have a high-rise or 4x4 vehicle, as the roads can become tricky, especially during the rainy season. The estate is not far from Dunkeld Estate, which hosts weddings, and it is home to various species of antelope, such as eland, springbok, and red hartebeest, as well as birds of prey and other beautiful bird species.
